Forest Bathing – Returning to your senses

There are times when we want to breathe a little deeper, to feel our feet on the earth again.
Forest bathing is a gentle, guided way of being in the forest — slowing down, opening your senses, and letting nature calm your mind and body.
We move slowly, notice more, and allow the forest to meet us exactly where we are.
What you will experience in a forest bathing session
During a guided session you’ll be invited into simple practices that help you soften, and feel supported by the natural world.
- Slow walking to settle the nervous system
- Sensory invitations for sight, sound, touch, and smell
- Mindful pauses and gentle breath awareness
- Sit spot for resting in one place to notice what’s alive around you
- Light reflection or journaling (optional)
- Closing circles for sharing and integration

- Who it’s for: Anyone seeking clarity, calm, and a deeper connection with nature. For those who are worn out by stress and constant rushing, who are looking for a simple way to return to themselves, to calm down, restore inner balance, and — after deeply resting and recharging with energy — return to everyday life.
- What to bring: Clothing appropriate for the weather (we walk slowly, so an extra layer may be needed), water, and a small mat to sit on and curiosity.
- Group size: Small and intimate for a quiet, supported experience.
- Session duration: Cold season - about 1.5–2 hours. Warm season 2-2.5 hours.

Location
Sessions are held in quiet forests around Riga.
Languages
Guided in Latvian, Lithuanian, Russian, and English.
Each walk is different — shaped by the season and the people who come together. It’s not about learning or doing, but about allowing. You are invited to slow down, listen, and let the forest remind you of your natural rhythm.
